Thank you so much to everyone who donated so generously to RNIB in memory of the late Derek Phillipson. This fitting tribute in Derek’s name will help RNIB to continue to be there for anyone affected by sight loss. Last year RNIB provided emotional and practical support from the moment of diagnosis to over 60,000 blind and partially sighted people, helping them to face the future with confidence. Thank you all again for your kindness.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
